In cooperation with IT Sistemi, OTP Bank launched the new business application monitoring system based on Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) platform.
The goal of the project was to implement monitoring of the most important business applications (such as Internet banking, POS appliaction, E-mail system and Contact center), through all the system components (such as Hardware, Network, Databases, IT Infrastructure).
Microsoft SCOM provided the basis for monitoring over 250 servers and workstations, and over 150 services, processes and web-applications. Logical interconnection of all the components mentioned gives the insight into performance of critical business applications, functions and processes.
The new monitoring system provides many benefits in everyday business operations, by enabling business application monitoring and proactive engagement in problem detection and solving. The end result is higher quality of customer service.
